Installing windows server 2008 on Dell Precision T5400
After installing windows server 2003 operating system, we tried to install windows server 2008 on Dell Precision T5400 Workstation.
There are few steps to follow will installing windows server 2008 on Dell Precision T5400 Workstation.
1. Go to Bios setup and configure SATA behavior to Raid ON.
2. After configuring SATA behavior, change boot sequence to DVD Drive and after that change quick boot to normal boot.
3. After post screen, press CTRL + I to configure RAID 1 for mirroring hard drives.
4. After configuring RAID, install windows server 2008.

4. After configuring RAID, install windows server 2008.
Note: - When installing windows server 2008 on Dell Precision T5400 you didn’t required downloading RAID controller drivers. You can configure RAID directly after post screen.
